Together we make the difference
Every week volunteers work for their neighbourhood. Read how you can help and what your contribution means.
Help is still badly needed, even now the attention fades
We are still in the coastal region and help is still badly needed, especially now the attention fades. With the teams and supplies already there we continue our medical care. We operate, assist at births, help malnourished children and provide clean drinking water.
Your support still makes the difference.

Will you help?
Thanks to your donation we can do everything we can to help people in need.
Where the need is greatest
We are grateful for every gift, and especially for ongoing support. As a regular donor you commit to supporting our work not just once, but for a longer time. That lets us plan ahead and stand by people for years.
- A small gift takes a child to the doctor
- A little more sends a child to school for half a year
- A larger gift gives a family a kit to grow their own food
How we spend your gift
Join our call to protect care workers and patients. Every signature counts.
After the flood: children lose their home, their footing and their safety
You can keep standing up for others after your lifetime. Your ideals live on and you give the generations after you a chance of a safe future.
Discover how a gift in your will makes a lasting difference. We are happy to think along with you, without obligation.

Among other things, our partner provided baby food, hygiene kits and a nutritious porridge of grains and pulses.
Every girl deserves to go to school
In the shelter the team set up a safe place where children can play, draw and talk to carers trained to recognise signs of stress and abuse. Parents get advice on how to support their children.
They may seem like small things, but precisely when a disaster takes away so much certainty, familiar routines give children something to hold on to. A fixed place, a familiar face, a moment to just be a child.
Sign the call
A year after the ceasefire the area remains unsafe. Two medics talk about their work in an overcrowded hospital.
Give regularly
Commit to giving regularly over several years and you may get a tax benefit. That way the same amount can mean even more.
